Senior / Principal Process Safety Engineer

Location: Hybrid (Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom) 

About the role 

We are recruiting for a Senior / Principal Process Safety Engineer to support a complex capital project environment. The role is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom and is offered on a hybrid basis. 

This opportunity sits within the Engineering / Process Safety sector. We are seeking an experienced process safety professional to support projects containing a diverse range of hazard types, both within multi-discipline teams and standalone process safety consulting assignments. 

Key responsibilities will include 

• provide process safety support on projects and consulting assignments.

• Contribute to hazard studies, risk reviews and safety strategy development.

• Support teams across the UK business and wider global group. 

Experience & Qualifications 

Must Have; 

• Broad process safety and process design experience. 

• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multi-discipline teams. 

• Ability to provide process safety support on projects and consulting assignments. 

• Ability to contribute to hazard studies, risk reviews and safety strategy development. 

• Ability to support teams across the UK business and wider global group. 

Desirable; 

• Experience in complex industrial, pharma, food or mission-critical environments
