About the role 

We are recruiting for a Project Safety Lead to support a complex capital project environment. 


The contract duration is expected to be 12 months. This opportunity sits within the Process Safety / CAPEX sector. 


A site-based process / project safety role supporting CAPEX projects in Cheshire. We are seeking a Project Safety Lead to provide leadership across engineering, construction and commissioning safety on major CAPEX projects. 


Key responsibilities will include 

  • implement policies, standards and best practices across CAPEX projects.

  • Lead safety across the full project lifecycle with engineering, design and contractor teams.

  • Support HAZOPs, RAMS, audits, investigations and root cause analysis.


Experience & Qualifications 

Must Have; 

  • Technical or engineering qualification ideally. 

  • Strong onsite safety experience within process / industrial project environments. 

  • Knowledge of HAZOP, RAMS and relevant process / construction safety requirements. 

  • Ability to implement policies, standards and best practices across CAPEX projects. 

  • Ability to lead safety across the full project lifecycle with engineering, design and contractor teams. 

  • Public aggregator listing showed “12 months contract / ongoing contract” and onsite working.
