Internal Auditor

Location: Hybrid (Greater Manchester, England, United Kingdom) 

About the role 

We are recruiting for a Internal Auditor to support a complex capital project environment. The role is based in Greater Manchester, England, United Kingdom and is offered on a hybrid basis. 

This opportunity sits within the Corporate / Finance sector. A group internal audit role supporting effective governance, risk management and internal controls. We are seeking an Internal Auditor to assist in delivery of the annual audit plan and provide independent assurance across financial and operational processes. 

Key responsibilities will include 

• plan, execute and complete internal audit reviews.

• Produce working papers and reports and track management actions.

• Challenge current controls constructively and support improvements.

Experience & Qualifications 

Must Have; 

• Recognised accounting qualification and relevant experience. 

• Strong analytical, process and reporting capability. 

• Comfortable working with middle and senior management across the business. 

• Ability to plan, execute and complete internal audit reviews. 

• Ability to produce working papers and reports and track management actions. Desirable

• Experience within Corporate / Finance environments.
