Design Manager

Location: Hybrid (Birmingham, England, United Kingdom) 

About the role

We are recruiting for a Design Manager to support a complex capital project environment. The role is based in Birmingham, England, United Kingdom and is offered on a hybrid basis. 

This opportunity sits within the Project Management / Design sector. A strategic design leadership role supporting complex EPCM project delivery from PM Group’s UK offices.

We are seeking a Design Manager to lead the design process, design teams and multidisciplinary coordination across major client projects.

Key responsibilities will include

• Lead and manage the design process on assigned projects.

• Coordinate internal and external design teams and interfaces.

• Work closely with project managers and discipline leads to deliver complex EPCM projects.

Experience & Qualifications 

Must Have; 

• Degree in Engineering, Construction, Science or similar discipline.

• Strong experience delivering complex multi-disciplinary EPCM projects. 

• Ability to lead and manage the design process on assigned projects. 

• Ability to coordinate internal and external design teams and interfaces.

• Ability to work closely with project managers and discipline leads to deliver complex EPCM projects. 

Desirable; 

Pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector experience highly.
